The Club’s training system is the product of years of experience of its coaches. The current structure of our system has been created for almost 60 years and is unique in Poland. Its defining features are mass charactercontinuity and quality. As a result, the Club has produced a number of Polish national team players and several dozen top league players. It has also repeatedly been recognized as the best Polish club which provides training for children and youth. Our system focuses strongly on combining education with sport. At each training stage, we work with top educational institutions, from the elementary school level to the university level. We collaborate with Elementary School no. 13 (SP nr 13), which runs sports classes with a basketball profile and the Sports Championship Academic High School (ALMS), which provides a dormitory for our team players.

We are constantly improving the quality of our training system, adjusting it to the needs of the community and modern basketball. The Sports Championship Academic High School at the Jacob of Paradies University has been operating since September 2017. The Club also has two first-league teams, which are the basis of our top league team.

The current training system was developed by Coach Dariusz Maciejewski.

Training Stages

The Club’s training program is divided into 4 stages. They are closely interrelated and form a coherent system ensuring a holistic development of young players, setting them on an exciting career path.  We understand that basketball is a dynamic and demanding game. For this reason, we put great emphasis on the development of comprehensive athleticism from an early age. Regular and properly balanced stimulation of the body gradually prepares the athletes for increasingly higher performance requirements and training loads.

The correct movement habits developed during the first stages form the basis for the technique and tactics of the game taught in the later stages. Long-term player development is supported by a number of basketball professionals and specialists in athletics, strength-training and other sports.
