Women's basketball training was first introduced in Gorzów in 1957 at the multi-sport club ZKS Stilon. Since then, women’s basketball in Gorzów has developed as follows:

  • 1957-1998 – ZKS “STILON”
  • 1998-2001 – KS “Gorzowskie Towarzystwo Koszykówki” [Gorzów Basketball Association]
  • 2001-present – KS AZS PWSZ (since 2004, the first team has been playing in Poland’s top league).

U-22 Women Polish Championships (11 medals):

2nd place (9 times): 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2014, 2015, 2017, 2018

2nd place: 2021

U-18 Women Polish Championships (7 medals):

1st place (4 times): 2003, 2017, 2018, 2020

* The club has had 44 foreign players, of 16 different nationalities(23 players from the USA, 3 from Australia, 2 from China, 2 from Slovenia, 2 from the UK, 2 from Russia, 2 from Belarus, and 1 from each of the following countries: Czechia, Ukraine, Sweden, Serbia, Belgium, the Netherlands, Lithuania and Germany).
