Kuczi is still with us!

It is time for an another update on our line-up for the 2020/2021 season! In the broad line-up for the upcoming season of Energa Basket Liga Kobiet there will be 18-year-old Aleksandra Kuczyńska. It will be the first chance in her career to play top league basketball. In this season during first league games, she scored the average of 10.1 points, 6.6 rebounds and 4.1 assists.

“It is going to be the first season when Ola joins the top league team. She is a very talented and ambitious player who is appointed to the Polish youth national teams. She will have an opportunity to work with experienced basketball players like our team captain Kasia Dźwigalska or Dominika Owczarzak. Ola's target event during the season will be the U-19 Polish Youth Championships. She will also be given a large number of minutes in the first league and through training with seniors, she is to gain confidence and experience that will be useful in her further career. Successful games during the season may bring her the opportunity of being a member of the Polish national team for the U-20 European Championships. Provided she is working hard, I believe, she will have a chance to make her debut and gain minutes in the EBLK basketball league,” said coach Dariusz Maciejewski.

“In the new season, I intend to show my skills both in an individual and in a team game. For me, the most important games are the U-19 Polish Youth Championships and Women's First League.  I know I will have a chance to train with seniors so I will be able to watch them and gain experience. I cannot wait for the upcoming season,” added Aleksandra Kuczyńska.
